School Age Program K thru 5th  Kids Club
What does Kids’ R.O.C.C. stand for?
R is for “Respect” for both the individual child, their peers and the environment. We help give the children tools to interact socially with other children through role playing and through example. We encourage them to become part of “our community” and to respect the community. We also value the environment and show the children how to respect our world through recycling programs and ecology lessons.
O stands for “Offering Integrity”. Integrity is one of our core values. Integrity doesn’t just apply to big decisions. It also applies to your small decisions. It pertains to your whole life. Integrity is being honest, upstanding and having a strong character. From our staff to interactions with the children we strive for integrity in all situations. We offer situations for the children to show their integrity with their peers.
C represents “Community”. We are part of a cooperative community that works together. We are also very involved in our community outside of the school from fundraisers for Open Heart Kitchen, candy donations and cards for the soldiers to making blankets for kids and saving juice pouches to earn money for Heifer International. We feel that kids should learn how to help their neighbors and be generous citizens.
C is for “Caring”. Our staff cares about the development and happiness of your child. Through our caring examples we hope that we will help instill the values of caring for others and themselves.
Kids’ R.O.C.C. at Centerpointe offers children a lively, creative and exciting after school experience. Children are nurtured and encouraged to grow socially and academically through daily arts and crafts, science, cooking and creative play. Older children have a quiet spot to do homework Monday through Thursday. Fridays are spent winding down the week doing unique enrichment activities. We are open most school holidays and plan exciting field trips to fill those days.
Program Schedule
The program runs weekdays, 7:30am-6:00pm during the school year. Currently we pick up both kindergarteners and first through fifth grade children at various schools through-out Pleasanton.
